Hilltop Nursery School is an outstanding, well organized program with experienced and caring teachers in a nurturing environment. It is exactly what I had envisioned as a preschool experience for my children.

About Us

Our Program
Our Parents Group

Our mission is to provide a quality childcare experience that helps your child develop physically, socially and emotionally all while having fun!

We believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. We believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow. At Hilltop, we allow children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We read to the children everyday. We believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, we believe that children need to have fun! At  Hilltop Nursery School, we offer enrichment programs, an annual pancake breakfast, a year end carnival, a fall meet and greet plus a spring open house.  There are many more activities planned throughout the year. Children learn best from experiencing the world around them.

Our Program

Hilltop Nursery School has been created to provide a wholesome atmosphere for preschool children ages 2.9 through 6 years. A place where they can develop to their potential socially, creatively, emotionally and educationally. Each child is able to pursue a variety of creative experiences which help improve skills, develop attitudes of cooperation and good social adjustment. We provide individual guidance that will give each child the feeling of success, the feeling of readiness for the new skills, and a sense of happiness and security in his/her introduction to school. Our program includes a balance of free time and group activities, using both indoor and outdoor facilities.  We are often told how well prepared our students are when they enter kindergarten.

Registration takes place each December for current families and siblings and then opens up to the public in January.  Spaces are filled on a first come first served basis.   Applications and a $75 non-refundable registration fee will be required at the time of registration to hold placement for the fall. Our hours are 9 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday. We offer 2, 3, 4, and 5 day programs as well as extended days. We also offer a "Multiple Child Discount". Please give our office a call at 978-664-4532 for further information or e-mail us to set up your visit. Tours are held throughout the school year. Call to schedule your appointment.

Parents are encouraged to share time and talent, and visit the program anytime during the hours of operation when their child is attending school. We feel that the most positive emotional environment exists when parents and the program work together as partners. We believe that parents can provide us with valuable input, which will assist us with maintaining the best early childhood experiences for all children. Hilltop has a parents group called Hilltop Association of Parents (HAP), which we encourage you to participate in.

HAP is a parents group, which sponsors special events for the children and families through their fundraising efforts. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help plan enrichment programs and activities such as the Valentine Breakfast, year end Carnival Day and more. Meetings are held throughout the year and this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved early in your child’s education and to meet new friends.
HAP Chairperson for this school year is Noelle Rudloff.
